Moving to New York City, The First Few Days & Goodbye To This Blog …

So we did it … we finally moved to New York City … its something Perry and I had been wanting to do for a long time and never thought it would be possible but somehow we seem to have managed it … and on the 28th November 2016 Perry, myself and our two fluffy babies started our journey from Bahrain to New York City … It was a long few days getting here and getting settled but things are finally starting to calm down a little bit now that we have been here a few days … it still all feels quite surreal but I did also Vlog the whole experience from our last week in Bahrain to the first few days here in NYC … so I’ll include those video’s below here for you incase you happen to be interested in watching … otherwise there are all the usual photos and descriptions below …

Spring in Rome … A Family Holiday!

Back in March this year I had the opportunity to go visit Rome with my family for a few days … we had a lovely long weekend of amazing weather and lots of fun sight seeing … including some yarny purchases for me along the way … I’ve picked a few pictures to share with you all here today … I had intended on posting this ages ago but time got away with me … so I’ll let the photos do the talking this time …

Curious Handmade Country House Retreat in Cumbria … My First Knitting Retreat!

This is a long overdue post … I attended a lovely knitting retreat back in March of this year up in Cumbria … it was a lovely few days spent with fellow knitters and crafters in the countryside … where all we did was relax and knit and occasionally go for a walk in the surrounding area … anyway here are a few photos from the few days we spent there …

Weekly Roundups … The last few weeks …

Its been a while! Almost a month actually since I last updated this blog … honestly it just feels like there isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done and then add to that all the fatigue I’ve been feeling with this pregnancy and my productive time is significantly reduced even more!

Weekly Roundup … Summer Coming To A Close …

Well its been another long break in posting around here and I guess its just been a really busy summer … I don’t think I fully realised quite how busy I was going to be these last few weeks … and to add to all of that Perry and I have some big news to share too … well if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you will already know but if not … We are expecting our first child early next year and we couldn’t be more thrilled by this development … I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant and so far its been going pretty well … I’ll probably pop back in in a while (or when I remember) to do an update on how the pregnancy has been going but for now I’ll just leave it at that …
