Hello all … well the other week while I was getting the photos for THIS POST off my camera I realised I had a bunch of pictures from New Years Day that I had completely forgotten about … New Years Day was the last full day my Mum was in Dubai … so we went for breakfast at Little More … followed by a walk along JBR beach, a trip to the Mall of the Emirates and dinner at the Iranian restaurant Anar at Madinat Jumeirah … it was a packed final day …
Hey all … still in Iran and having a great time with the family … heading to Shiraz in the south today to see my Dad’s family for my last few days … so far its been pretty busy but relaxing at the same time … I had heard alot about how much the economy is suffering here and how hard its become for everyone … but having come and seen it for myself it is pretty dire … day by day the value of their currency fluctuates dramatically …

Hello everyone … its been a pretty packed week … Perry’s been working late loads and I’ve been getting stuff sorted for my trip to Iran … speaking of which this blog post comes to you straight from Sharjah Airport … seems to be the cheapest and quickest option for a flight to Iran … but more about that later …
So a couple weekends ago Perry and I went to IKEA to get a bookcase … we’d talked about it previously and we had gotten to a point where we were lacking some surface space in our apartment to display stuff … we dont have alot of stuff at the moment … but we are starting to accumilate some frames and books (we left most of our books back in the UK in my parent’s attic) … and what few surfaces we did have were fast filling up …

Hello everyone … hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend … we’ve been super busy on our end … we got up to loads of stuff and it was all very productive too … we started off the weekend with a trip up to Ikea Friday morning … there were a couple bits of furniture we needed so after picking them up … and inevitably we picked up a few other things too … you can never go to Ikea and not end up getting more than you anticipated …
