So the final part of the Philipp family’s Christmas present was a boat trip around the Marina and the Palm in the afternoon after BREAKFAST … unfortunately Perry was still too ill to come on the boat trip with us … even so we managed to have a good time on the boat for a couple hours … the weather was perfect and the breeze was just what we needed …
Wow … well today marks our 3 Year Dubai Anniversary … kinda crazy really when you think about it … the time has just flown by and overall the whole experience has been life changing for both of us … I mean so much has happened in the last 3 years …

Wow well the weekend already feels like it was ages ago … even though this is a short week due to the extra day off its been super busy and I haven’t really had a lot of time to slow down … in any case I thought I’d do a quick little blog post about our time in Abu Dhabi this last weekend …
Its been such a manic crazy week for me at work … Perry has been pretty full on with his current project too … but I am so glad it is almost the weekend … and it also happens to be a long weekend this time round too … even more amazing!
Hey everyone … so on the last day Perry’s Parent’s were here we took them out of town and down to Al Ain to go visit the Zoo … it was a lot of fun and I had heard great things about this particular Zoo so I was excited to go and check it out …
Harri was really keen to do a Desert Safari … so I took her out on a good one I’ve had experience with before … the company are good and the area they take you too for the off-roading is lovely … the area is known as Fossil Rock … and as its quite close to the border with Oman and the Hajir Mountains the sand has a very orangey/red colour to it from the iron in the mountains …
Hey everyone … so today is my birthday … I am now officially 27 … weird really when I think about it … and somewhat scary too … as part of my Birthday Celebrations Perry surprised me on Saturday morning with a trip to Yas Waterworld for the day … I had been wanting to go for absolutely ages … pretty much since the day it opened I’ve been trying to find an excuse to go … somehow it never really worked out …
So a couple weekends ago Perry and I decided to take a last minute weekend break away … a few weeks back at the start of June Perry won a couple of radio competitions and the prizes were two weekend’s away at a hotel in Abu Dhabi … so we chose to use one and opted to stay at the Hilton for the weekend …
Well its been a superbly busy week … so much so that I can’t even believe we are almost at the end of June already … 6 months of the year gone like a blink of an eye … seriously what happened to the time???
