… And Crash!

So I was driving to work this morning on my own … Perry hasn’t been feeling well recently and had called in sick this morning … so for the first time I was taking the car to work rather than being dropped off … so I’m on my way and everything is going ok … managing to avoid the crazies out on the road on their morning commute to work …

Leaving for Thailand … & Yet Another Trip To The Vets!

Hey Everyone, this is going to be the first of several posts about our trip to Thailand last week … this one is gonna be quite short about the day we left …

Both Perry & I managed to get off work early on 15th March and even though our flight wasn’t until 11pm it turned out to be a really good thing … Derek had still been poorly and after initially appearing to have gotten better his diarrhoea hadn’t completely cleared up and was still intermittent … and on top of this he had developed a twitch in his left eye and was constantly squinting … Even though I knew I was probably overreacting we made an emergency appointment to see the vet to get him checked over again before we left for Thailand … more to reassure myself that there wasn’t anything wrong …

Some Exciting News …

Hey Everyone,

So Perry & I have just gotten back from our holiday and we have some big news to share with all our family and friends … and we figured this would be the best/quickest way to tell everyone together. We decided that whilst we were in Thailand we would also go ahead and Get Married … and thats exactly what we did … the week away also doubled up as our honeymoon too …

Sandance & the Vet …

Hey everyone … so Friday was Sandance at The Atlantis hotel on the Palm, and with a line up including Snow Patrol, Calvin Harris, DJ Yoda, The M People and others … it was shaping up to be a good evening … We had spent the morning not doing much and just moseying around the flat, running a couple errands and playing with the kittens …

Weekend Plans and Kitten Update :)

Hey everyone … this is just a quick update … I wasnt feeling very well today so stayed home from work … but feeling better now and we have a number of things planned for this weekend … 

Another Weekend & Yet Another Sandstorm …

We had abit of a mixed bag weekend this week … it felt busy but looking back over it there were plenty of moments when we could just sit back and relax … so overall I’d say we had a productive yet restful weekend … which is great considering how busy and rushed we have been for the preceding few weeks … February seems to have gone by in a blur of visiting friends and Kittens … with not alot of time to do nothing … we’ve constantly felt like we were on the go having to be somewhere or doing something … but this weekend (while still doing alot of things) felt alot more relaxed …

Now Everyone Meet Derek …

Hello again everyone … finally after waiting an extra 7 days for him to recover from ‘Kitty Flu’ we can now introduce you to the second newest member of our family … little Derek … or rather should I say big Derek … Since we first saw him 2 weeks ago Derek has put on more weight and is even larger than Hugo now … which is a big change cause he did look like he may have been the runt of the litter initially …  anyways after a final health check and a sign off from the vet we were able to bring him home on Tuesday evening.
