On my last full day in Shiraz my Aunt Mitrah tool me out to go for a wander around the older parts of Shiraz … it took a while to get there as the traffic was quite bad but once we got there and parked up we went for a wander round the streets … there are lots of traditional Iranian homes still in this area … and a there were parts which were known as the Armenian area due to a small Armenian church being there …
At the halfway point of my trip I caught a flight down to Shiraz in the south of the country to spend a few days with my Dad’s family … the morning of my flight was pretty relaxed … and I got to airport all ok with plenty of time to catch my flight … my Auntie Mitra and cousin Ali came to pick me up from the airport and we spent most of that afternoon at my Grandparents home …
