Family Lunch & 60th Birthday Celebrations (As Well As Others) …

_MG_5091-1Hey everyone … so Perry and I are currently in London … we are actually leaving for New York this morning … we decided when booking this trip that we would do a short stop over in London on our way to New York for a couple days as a surprise for my Dad … he turned 60 this year on the 2nd September and we thought it would be nice to surprise him but showing up for a couple days to celebrate …

My Mum was in on the whole plan but my Dad and brother were unaware … we managed to surprise him Friday morning and that went down well … even my Brother had no idea and was genuinely shocked to see us …

Anyway yesterday we had organised to meet Perry’s family at the Wheatsheaf pub in Esher … which is about halfway between where my family live in North London and where Perry’s family live in East Sussex … we had arranged to meet up to celebrate not only my Dad’s 60th Birthday but also the fact that between the end of August and the end of September we have 6 Birthdays between the two families … only my Brother and Perry’s Dad have their birthdays in March … so we thought it would be good fun to have everyone together to celebrate …

The morning started out in typical fashion … we were all ready to go and my brother was doing some last minute ironing before we ran out the door …

Next stop New York … and I can’t wait to get there … so many wonderful plans and I’m really excited!

Better go finish packing my bags now before we leave for the airport …
