Dubai Miracle Garden … Lots of Flowers … & Lime Tree for Lunch …

This weekend I got to cross off the first of the items on my list of 28 BEFORE 28 when Perry and I took his parents to the Dubai Miracle Garden on Friday morning … as it happens the weather in Dubai the last couple days have been pretty bad … there is a pretty big sandstorm happening along with sporadic thunder storms and heavy showers …

We woke up in the morning took one look outside and while it was a little hazy and overcast we took our chances with the weather and decided to try it out … we got there early enough and thankfully it wasn’t too busy …

_MG_6619-1 _MG_6345-1 _MG_6347-1 _MG_6351-1 _MG_6356-1The gardens are beautiful and full of flowers … there were flower houses … Flower filled cars and all sorts of other things …

_MG_6357-1 _MG_6358-1 _MG_6360-1 _MG_6375-1 _MG_6384-1 _MG_6387-1There were plenty of flowers around … and actually with the weather being overcast it was great for photographing them in nice lighting …

_MG_6362-1 _MG_6433-1 _MG_6365-1I really loved the flower covered walkway in the middle of the gardens …

_MG_6390-1 _MG_6392-1 _MG_6395-1 _MG_6399-1 _MG_6400-1 _MG_6403-1They even had a Flowery Burj Khalifa …

_MG_6413-1 _MG_6499-1As well as several floral pyramids dotted around …

_MG_6434-1 _MG_6436-1 _MG_6440-1The umbrella walkway was lovely and colourful …

_MG_6444-1 _MG_6447-1 _MG_6449-1The overcast weather was good in the sense that it didn’t get too hot … as we weren’t having to walk around in direct sunlight … however even so Perry still managed to catch the sun a little on his forehead …

_MG_6457-1 _MG_6455-1 _MG_6461-1 _MG_6471-1 _MG_6470-1Not to forget it’s actually Patrick’s Birthday tomorrow … so we made him stand in for this Happy Birthday picture …

  1. Well worth a visit as it brings colour and aroma to another part of Dubai. I could not believe the size of it, fancy deadheading all the petunias. Thanks M & P for taking us.
