Hey everyone … hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend … things around here have been relaxed … and rather wet … the UAE had the worst rain in over two years this weekend … temps dropped to below 25C (77F) and it was the rain was the worst we have seen since we’ve moved here …
It did make it quite refreshing to go outside though … the above was taken from our balcony at about 7am on Friday morning … I had to go bring the laundry in to stop it getting wet … which was a first for me …
Anyways moving on … below are a list of things I’ve been enjoying around the internet for the last few days … its a longer list than usual this week … there has been loads of fun stuff flying around recently … hope you enjoy …
- A LION, TIGER AND BEAR … this is one of the most adorable stories of animal friendships I’ve heard about in a long time …
- HOLIDAY STUFFED PUMPKIN … this actually looks and sounds really delicious … and the stop motion video is the brilliant … love the music too …
- STRIPES AND DOTS … Such a cute and easy way to decorate your washer and dryer … especially if they are visible around the house … definitely a great way to dress up some white goods …
- ACABELLES – ROYALS … love this cover of the song Royals by Lourde’s … these ladies have such wonderful voices and this cover is one of my favourites that I’ve heard of this song so far …
- MAKE YOUR OWN GINGERBREAD TARDIS … calling out to all Dr Who fans out there … ever wanted to have your own Tardis? … well now you can make your own out of Gingerbread … how awesome is that?
- CLASSIC UK CONFECTIONERY … so how many of the 65 classic UK sweets have you tried? … I scored 59 out of 65 … not too bad really …
- HISTAGRAMS … what history might have looked like via Instagram … quite funny really …
- FAMOUS HISTORICAL FIGURES RE-IMAGINED AS DOGS AND CATS … I thought this was a good bit of fun …
- HE SAID SHE SAID: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR PARTNER GETS HANGRY? … now Hangry is something I have to admit I suffer from … this has some good advice for those dealing with people suffering from Hangry …
- THEO AND BEAU … this has been making the rounds online for the last week … and its possibly one of the cutest things around … just so squeeeeeeee …
- GOLDIEBLOX … GoldieBlox is a toy company trying to show the world that girls deserve more choices than dolls and princesses … I love the concept of their company and what they are trying to do …
- RUSSIAN COMMUTERS SCORE A FREE TRAIN TICKET FOR 30 SQUATS … that is one way to try and get people to do more exercise …
- SUNPRINT ART … this is a fun idea to try …
- 9 MOMENTS WHEN PANDA’S WERE TOO CUTE TO HANDLE … the last one just killed me with cuteness …
- BLUETOOTH VIRTUAL KEYBOARD … this is interesting … I’m not sure how well this would actually work in reality though …
- IRAN NUCLEAR TALKS AT GENEVA REACH DEAL … and finally some good news to round off the list today …
