Bastakiya & Abra Ride With Paul … A Walk Around Old Dubai …

Last week on Thursday I had the day off from work for Eid … but Perry had to head back to site for the day … so I turned tour guide for the day and took Paul out to see old Dubai … we left home around noon and had some lunch around the Marina before we hopped onto the Metro up to the Bastakiya area of the city … it takes a while to get there but the views from the Metro are great so it’s not too long a journey …

Especially if you can get up to the front of the first carriage … they have driver-less trains so its a pretty amazing view from the front …

_MG_0006-1 _MG_0008-1Finally we hopped back onto the Metro and walked home over the bridge in time to catch the last of the afternoon sunshine …
