Bazaar Bozorg Tehran …

On the Sunday I was in Tehran my Auntie Nahid had arranged for us to go the Bazaar Bozorg in Tehran … the main big Bazaar in the city … and we were due to meet up with my Auntie Marzieh (my Dad’s sister) and my Great Aunt Maryam …

We took the metro to the Bazaar and ended up walking the last bit due to all the congestion on the trains when we tried to change lines … we went for a wander round the market and I as usual took loads of pictures … the one thing I really like about going to the Bazaar’s in Iran is that its so different to the ones I’ve been to in other countries …

Stay tunned for more updates on what I got up to in Shiraz …

Till next time …

  2. Thank you for these gorgeous images.
I lived in Tehran as a child in the 1970’s and these pictures are just wonderful to see.
I have so many, many fond memories of this fantastic country.
It would be my biggest dream to visit again one day.
