Lunch At Pierchic & Wandering Around Madinat Jumeirah …

Last Sunday I had organised for me and my Mum to have a bit of a pampering session in the morning followed by some lunch at a lovely Seafood restaurant Pierchic which I had heard lots of good things about … as my Brother Barbak had shown up unexpectedly in the middle of the night … he also came along for the Lunch …

In morning me and Mum went to Nadia Beauty Salon to have manicures, pedicures, parafin treatments and a facial which I had organised months ago … the Mani/Pedi were the Gelish type with the nail varnish that supposedly doesn’t chip and lasts atleast 2 weeks … I can’t actually remember the last time I had a Manicure and have never had a Pedicure before … so I was quite looking forward to it …

IMG_0622-1And it was … until we started running out of time … I didn’t realise it would take as long as it did … I’d allowed 3hrs between the time of our appointment and our lunch reservation but even so we were cutting it close and managed to get to the restuarant just in time for our booking …

_MG_7259-1 _MG_7261-1 _MG_7262-1 _MG_7265-1 _MG_7267-1The food was delicious … so scrummy … the place is renowned for its seafood and the Lunch menu didn’t dissapoint …

IMG_0643-1 _MG_7270-1We all had the Monkfish and Asparagus starter …

_MG_7277-1My mum and I had the Pumpkin Polenta Gratin, while my brother had the Cauliflower soup and Salmon …

_MG_7280-1For the main course we all went for the Black Tiger Prawns, mash and beans …

_MG_7282-1To finish off the meal my brother and I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding and my mum had the Mixed Berries …

_MG_7287-1 _MG_7288-1It was a lovely meal and even though the portions were not that big … we were all suitably stuffed by the end of it …

_MG_7290-1 _MG_7294-1 _MG_7297-1 _MG_7303-1We had some lovely views of the Burj Al Arab (click to see bigger) …

Pierchic-panorama-1After taking a few pictures by the restaurants and along the pier we headed back and made our way towards Madinat Jumeirah …

IMG_0657-1 _MG_7341-1 _MG_7344-1 _MG_7355-1My brother couldn’t help pull a silly face …

_MG_7358-1The whole place had been decorated for christmas and had a very festive vibe … it was really lovely actually … we eventually made our way round to the Amphitheatre where they had a massive Christmas tree and festive market set up …

_MG_7366-1 _MG_7367-1 _MG_7394-1We made ourselves comfortable on the steps and relaxed abit as we watched them setting up the market … it was just begining to open up as we arrived …

_MG_7376-1 _MG_7380-1 _MG_7382-1 _MG_7384-1Overall we had a lovely day out in the Sunshine … it wasn’t too hot … so it was perfectly comfortable for wandering around outside …

_MG_7406-1 _MG_7409-1 _MG_7415-1 _MG_7417-1Thats it for this time … stay tunned for more updates on what we got up to while my family were here …

Till next time …
