Monday Links … Something Interesting For The Week …

Hello Everyone … Hope your having a lovely start to the week … other than feeling like I’ve stepped into a sauna every time I go outside … its all good here this week … the shorter working days are very useful really!

Oh and the other day Perry showed me this in the toy section of a department store … I got really STUPIDLY excited about it! … kickback to my childhood and the first computer games console we had … much fun was had … I remember me and my brother trying to blow the dust out of the cartridges when the games wouldn’t work properly … I miss those days … things were simpler then … (I also love how its a 2012 edition!)

Anyways moving on … these are some of the stuff I’ve been enjoying this last week … Hope you will too …

  1. An INTERESTING article about how oxytocin works …
  2. Some interesting tips on APPROACHING photographers to gain experience … for those who are interested in doing so …
  3. A simple TUTORIAL for editing your photos to get vibrant colours …
  4. A GREAT IDEA for raising funds for your small business … as its so hard to get capital from banks these days … crowd-sourcing has already helped alot of artistic projects get off the ground … its nice to see its now working for small businesses too!
  5. Some sound ADVICE about how you shouldn’t be looking to market yourself/business purely online …
  6. Considering its Christians get to have Advent Calendars at Christmas then its only fair that Muslims get RAMADAN CALENDARS for Ramadan …
  7. Now the sun is shining these SANGRIA recipes look really appetising …
  8. You all probably know that I LOVE Tim Dowlings columns for the Guardian … but THIS one is absolutely great …
  9. And considering the Olympics start at the end of this week … for those of you who have tickets … here is a run down on whats allowed and whats available in the Olympic park when it comes to FOOD!
  10. A very FRANK AND HONEST article about the struggles of dealing with an elderly relative with dementia … raises some ethical questions regarding how we go about treating elderly patients in order to prolong their lives … makes for some interesting reading …

Thats it for this week … feel free to share anything interesting you may have come across recently … I’m always intrigued to see what others find on the internet!

Till next time …
