Its Thursday so time for another weekly roundup … the weeks have been flying by recently … it feels slow at the start of the week but by the time it gets to Thursday I wonder where the time has gone … does that ever happen to you?
Its been a while since I managed to update the blog … 2 weeks actually … but mostly this is cause we’ve been quite busy and not enough time to keep up … so I actually have another couple posts to come up after this one today … I figured I’d split it up over a number of posts so as to avoid one ridiculously long one …

It’s been a while since the last blog post, so I thought I should update it with what’s been happening these last few weeks.
Today was a good day for me … I got a call last night from a recruiter here in Dubai who I had been in touch with from a few weeks ago … he had found a position for me that sounded like what I had been searching for and arranged an interview for this afternoon … so after having gotten Perry to iron my dress for me last night (I have trained him well) … it didnt take me long to get ready this morning and headed out to the Mall Of Emirates to meet the recruiter for a coffee ahead of the interview …
So as mentioned in the post earlier we headed out to Dubai Mall in the afternoon to get some sensible things done … like eat food and sort ourselves with Local sim cards … it was good fun and I’m really glad we got out of the flat for abit to go and see the city abit … and I know the mall isnt the city but its a start!
Ok so final day today … and it was such a perfect final day it was brilliant … Perry’s parents and sister came up in the morning to spend the day with us before we set off … Spent the morning outside enjoying the sunshine and we even headed down to the Serpentine at Hyde Park for some Ice Cream and to enjoy the sun before heading off to lunch …

Today begins a big week of Birthdays, today is my Aunt Rose’s and Mina’s Mum’s birthdays, then my Mum and Sis later in the week, so that should keep us busy enough. We’ll be travelling down to my Mum & Dads this coming weekend which will be good fun, and I’m sure we’ll be able to nab a roast dinner out of the trip, most likely my last one till Xmas, so mum if you’re reading this, pull out all the stops on this one ok, I’m taking my extra baggy jeans for this one…
